Our Origin Story

Mick and Tiffany Smith of Clinton, Indiana began the Elle-J network in 2018 with the establishment of Elle-J Trucking, Inc. This company provides the hauling of aggregate for small projects such as driveways and works with local contractors to build roads and bridges as well as new construction. In 2022 with the addition of long time heavy duty truck mechanic Troy Long, Elle-J extended their resources to include Elle-J Service & Repair. This entity provides a local solution for semis, dump trucks, and other heavy duty machines to be serviced consistently and repaired when needed.

In 2023, Elle-J Rock & Rental was founded to provide a local solution for those needing to rent equipment and secure small amounts of aggregate. In 2024, the desire for local solutions extended yet again to include Elle-J Rock’N Buses. This small business has one party bus and can be rented hourly with a minimum of 4 hours.

This network of businesses is proud to offer the Wabash Valley one-stop-shop for all of their customers’ needs.
